Mobile County Sheriff's Multi Purpose Posse Arena

The Sheriff's Posse Arena has been around since the 1950's. Originally used to for the mounted Sheriff's to train and house the horses used to patrol and participate in local celebrations.

 

Throughout the years the arena was also used to host events like horse shows, rodeo's, bulls and barrels and many other outside events.

 

Like most things the arena started to slow down on having events and renting out the arena. For that reason it became dormant and unused. Through many different Sherrif's the arena was put on the back burner to address more important issues.

 

Now, C T & P Marketing LLC has acquired a long term working agreement with the Sheriff's Posse Arena to use the arena for events and venues that will bring business and a boost to the local economy as well as make use of the arena so that it doesn't continue to loose its history and appeal. They are also making renovations and trying to restore it to its original state so that they can preserve what could end up being a historical monument.
